Rigging & Texturing: Mutaforma
Starting the spring semester of 2016 at Quinnipiac University we were assigned to create a character from scratch, rig them, put them in an environment, and animate them interacting with a character from Mixamo. I really wanted to challenge myself to create something different, something that would really push out of my comfort zone. After learning many new rigging and texturing techniques, such as a stretchy rig or how to use the water effect on an object in Maya, this project resulted in the creation of Mutaforma, the Italian word for shape-shifter.
